This propaganda has a picture of Lenin holding a newspaper and a bunch of Russian writings on the poster. The poster states, “All power to soviets! Peace to all nations! Lands to all peasants! Factories to workers! ” The propaganda basically tries to pass the message to make people believe that Lenin could make a better change. This picture is made to remind the people of his slogan “Peace, Land, Bread”, and its point is to gain more supporters to believe in him. The newspaper Pravda symbolizes his slogan (“Peace, Land, Bread”), and the way he holds the newspaper is like he’s holding his promise to the people. The red color decorated in the poster is also used to express the power of communism. In this picture, Lenin and his words in the poster are pretty effective because it repeats how he will help the people (workers) to move to a better change.

This propaganda is showing the face of Lenin in red with the word peace in many languages. The message that Lenin tries to spread is his promise to provide peace for workers and peasants and that he will do whatever it takes to accomplish peace for his supporters. Lenin tries to convince people that once they chose to support him, he would be able to provide them back with peace and their pledges. The red colored background represents again, communism. In this propaganda Lenin is pretty effective, because he’s the one promising to the workers to bring them peace and he is one of the main leaders who have many supporters.

This poster is a poster that leads the path of Russians towards Communism by using the ideas of Marxism to help convince people. In the poster it shows a man
holding a red flag. The flag has a picture of the three main leaders of communism (Marx, Engel, and Lenin). By having the man standing up holding the flag, it’s like a way of reuniting people to steps towards equality, towards communism. This poster leaves a message that people should start to revolt in order to change and move to a better future. The poster is trying to convince people in a lower class of Russia to be convinced and trusted that communism is the best way and could benefit them the best. The red color symbolizes the color of communism and the red tip of the flag that is dangling down is like the power of communism that is spreading in towards the people of Russia. Lenin in the flag is particularly effective because he has many supporters and may be a big part in order for people to rise up."#219" online posters. Posters from the former Soviet Union 2. All the propaganda posters I chose are basically based on the communist leader, Lenin. They all have in common the idea of supporting Lenin on making people trust in him and communist. In each picture Lenin will be there to convince people that his ideas were the best to help the people out of their poor life. The pictures I saw gave an idea of how citizen’s lives were during that period. I learned that during the rule of the Tsar until the rule of Stalin the people’s status were kind of poor and people are all in a chaos until propaganda came into use and people start to support more of the ideas of communism.
