T.E. Lawrence

Lawrence of Arabia was born on 1888. He is from Tremodoc, Wales. His name full name is Thomas Edward Lawrence or Ned. His parents break up when he was young, but his last name (Lawrence) still remained the same. Lawrence later settled in Oxford and went to school and college there. There he loved to study History so much. After studying about a trip at Syria it influenced him and later made him decide to become an archeologist.
Later he worked in Syria for 4 years and became an expert on Arabic and Middle East cultures. He later came back to help England fight in the great Arab revolt lead by Prince Feisal . Lawrence talked with the Turkish prisoner and later gained more information of the Turkish army camps and their strengths. He developed his knowledge about the Turks to benefit his plans. He attacked the Turks by using guerilla tactics. Later he gained a victory in the war. He was really promoted and promised by his commander (General Allenby) to support any supply or resources he needs. He fought his best for the Arab’s independence. He even refuses the king’s medal and tried the explained to the westerners the Arab point of view. Later an American guy named Lowell Thomas lectured the Brittish and made Lawrence famous.
However Lawrence escaped his fame and retired. He wrote the seven pillars of wisdom and published it on 1926. In 1922-1935 he returned to work at the Royal air force. First he started as an ordinary airman and later upgraded to a private in the Brittish army. Unfortunately, in May 1935 he met a horrific motorbike crash accident and eventually past out.
